last nite Milan AC were wipe-washed 0-4 by city cousins Inter.
the post-Paolo/Kaka/Ancellotti/Gourcouff Rossoneri has been anything but disastrous. sad but true
*UPDATE*: it was one hell of a sick & enjoyable nite!
Many people were caught having fun chasing the stupid ball and trying to put it in the net, all in the name of that meaningless cup conquest. It was a shameful nite indeed...
Fresh from the suck-eggful Champions League 'Kamsen' Edition (read here), the madmen of office collegues decided to throw in another shameful tournament tomorrow...this time all the various in-house departments are pitted against each other
What's the biggest obstacle you've had to overcome within the last 24 hours?

the obstacle to become no.1!
synopsis: last nite a futsal tournament was organised by collegues. 6 fake teams were formed: Arsenal, Barcelona, Chelsea, Liverpool, Newcastle United and Manchester United.
I was kicked into Alex Ferguson's team.
7 games and a bucket of sweat later (5 league,1 semi,1 final) we were the lame champions!

If they ever make a patron of the flukey goal, they should call him San Filippo. If there is an art form in scoring with every part of the anatomy imaginable then he is its Leonardo. Love him or loathe him, the 300 goals of Pippo Inzaghi cant be ignored
His facial contortions as he takes a tumble in the penalty box have become the stuff of legend. And his ability to be in the right place at the right time is so uncanny that even experts in the paranormal are lost for an explanation. In many ways, Super Pippo is a symbol of Italian football. Disliked, reviled and generally belittled across Europe, he gets the job done (from channel4.com/football italia)
Thanx for the memories Pippo

...and the newspapers here had a field day
To label Malaysian Football as a classic example of sports and politix horrific mix up is an understatement.
Been hearing about the radical changes on football structure, state FAs, clubs and grassroot development since the last 10-15 years or so but still nothing comes of it.
Dear Sultan and high powered people up there,
Although I am not so optimistic,I have one wish: to see Malaysian football team qualify for the World Cup at least once before I drop dead
Update:
Following one of the most astonishing turnarounds in transfer history,
Kaka's move to Manchester City has fallen through when Milan President and Italy Prime Minister Silvio Belusconi call off the deal at the last minute
related news:
Silvio Belusconi call off the deal at the last minute
Manchester City won 2 English league titles (1937&1968), and 1 European Cup Winners Cup (1970)
Milan currently 3rd in Serie A, with a realistic chance of fighting for the Scudetto
Manchester City are in 11th place in the Premier League, 7 points above the relegation zone
Milan is one of the most revered cities in Europe,a capital of design and fashion, culture, art, nightlife
Manchester boasts less of a cultural note, and hardly catches the eye like Milan,
or even London, does.
So how could it be possible then that one of the world’s greatest footballers could move from Milan to Manchester City?
The simple answer is: MON£Y
THE DAY THE TRANSFER OF KAKA TO MANCHESTER CITY GOES THROUGH WILL BE MARKED D0WN IN HISTORY AS THE DAY FOOTBALL DIED

Earlier this month AC Milan arrives in Dubai from Italy for their winter training camp sponsored by Emirates-Airlines.
The camp, which was part of the second half preparation of the 2008-2009 European season generated a lot of public and media attention...mainly because of a small time footballer by the name of David Beckham who just recently moved to the club, joining the likes of Kaka, Ronaldinho and Maldini.
A week long training was held daily at Al-Nasr Sports Club, and as a huge Rossoneri tifosi it is only right for me to checkout them out. My good friend Jamel was there too.
after 2 hours of training/match practice the mob of fan waited patiently for players to come out for some autograph signing.i manage to get paolo's...ronaldinho was very accommodating too, and he got the loudest cheer from the crowd. Becks? damn...he wanted to smooch my face...its a narrow escape though

Part of the training agenda was a friendly match against German Bundesliga side, Hamburg SV dubbed 'Dubai Football Challenge' , which was held at the Emirates' The Sevens Stadium on January 6.
Went to enjoy the game along with Joker, Sufian, Kamil and Munyra. But damn...we were caught in a massive traffic jam leading up to the stadium and arrived there quite late...the match has gone almost halfway thru
the game ended 1-1 after 90 minutes, and Milan prevailed 4-3 on penalties (matchnews here)
...I had to be a part-time police traffic while the vehicle was towed...haha

It's not everyday that you could get a photo together with Joker...apparently some football stars wouldn't miss this golden chance
As cliche as it may sound, sososorry for the lack of updates...and the usual lame xcuses that contemplate the sentence, both ends with -zy: la_ _ and acting bu_ _
So, whats up recently?
Well, for my part, i'm back to the old country for a 3 week break after 7 months in UAE land. Not sure how i coaxed the people up there to grant me such a marathon leave,of which i managed to celebrate Eiduladha backhome in early December, and then back to Sheikh's territory at the end of the month...just in time to pick up my salary...apparently i was being paid for vacationing...sweet...
